Port Crescent-Geodesic Domes
Port Crescent State Park
More Information
To improve roads, water and sewer lines, electrical systems, the sanitation station and other park infrastructure, the park's campground is closed for renovations through June 26, 2025. A proposed $4.95 million in federal relief funding from Gov. Whitmer's Building Michigan Together Plan made these and other renovations possible.
Two accessible geodesic domes, located in the center of the campground, offer an intimate setting with spruce paneling, skylights and views of Lake Huron. Each dome sleeps up to four and offers air conditioning and heat. There is a queen bed, and up to two can sleep in cot-style bunks. In addition, there is a sitting area, coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge.
The grey dome (The Voyager) features modern furnishings, and the gold dome (The Nomad) features traditional furnishings.
There is no running water, but a modern toilet and shower building is located about 300 feet away and a vault toilet is located about 100 feet away.
Guests must provide their own linens and cookware.
There is a two-night minimum stay, and check-out time is 11 a.m.
