Notes:

The City of Houghton offers free broadside mooring for all traffic including day-use, overnight and commercial at any of its five dock facilities located between Kestner Park and East Houghton Park along our waterfront. These facilities generally do not include amenities, though the full-service Houghton County Marina is directly across the canal to provide fuel and pumpout services (but has limited transient space).

The mooring facilities are a short walk from downtown shops, restaurants and bars which allows boaters to tie up for an hour or days at a time to enjoy Houghton. We only ask that if you plan on staying awhile that you call in your name, hull and contact information when you dock, in the event that you need to be reached for any reason.
