Canoe Lake State Forest Campground
Situated on the shore of Canoe Lake, this rustic campground offers great opportunities for paddle sports and fishing. Located in Schoolcraft County, 18.3 miles northeast of Shingleton.

This rustic campground is on the shore of Canoe Lake, a 34-acre inland lake that offers excellent fishing and paddling opportunities. This quaint campground has four lakeside campsites that are suitable for tent and small trailer use. Those seeking a place of solitude and remoteness will enjoy this campground and nearby Trail 8. The campground is fewer than 10 miles to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.
Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay. Amenities include vault toilets and potable water from a hand-pump well. The campground is located 18.3 miles northeast of Shingleton via H-15, Adams Trail, H-52 and County Road 454.Sites available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No reservations.
